João Araújo

João Araújo is an integrated member of CESEM, participating in the Research Cluster in Sound and Music in Digital and Audiovisual Media (CysMus). He completed a degree in Music (Composition) at the Braga Calouste Gulbenkian Music Conservatory, a licentiate in Music (Composition) at the Lisbon School of Music (ESML), a master’s degree in Multimedia (Interactive Music and Sound Design) at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and a PhD in Arts (Performance and Moving Picture Arts) at the University of Lisbon. His research is focused on interactivity, videogame music and its creators, and in music communities on the Internet, while being a composer and sound designer for videogames and teacher.
