- Advanced Diploma in Violin.
- Advanced Diploma in Viola.
- Advanced Diploma in Music Pedagogy.
- Master’s Degree in Teacher Training.
- Master’s Degree in Musical Performance and Research.
- Degree in Medicine from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
- Interim Professor at the Conservatory of Music of A Coruña from 2022 to the present.
- PhD from the University of Oviedo, Department of Art History and Musicology, with the Honorable Dr. José Ignacio Suarez García as my director and advisor.
My research interests revolve around musical activity in Spain (1848–1926), subjecting the traditional assumptions of musical biography to critical scrutiny in light of recent epistemological and methodological developments in the humanities. Contemporary musical biography must accept the challenges facing history, both methodologically and narratively, and reconsider its traditional premises. My thesis is about José María Varela Silvari, composer, pianist, historian, and music critic.
