Margarida Maia

Margarida Maia holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, but alongside her scientific work she has developed a strong interest in music and the arts. Her work is driven by a curiosity about how different disciplines can interact and open up new ways of thinking and expression. She is currently especially interested in the work of poet Salette Tavares and in the relationships between writing and sound across different media.
