Towards an Anthology

“Towards an Anthology” is a Creative Europe-funded project designed by Pedro Sousa e Silva (Project Leader and the project’s Principal Mentor) and submitted by ESMAE. It is an Extended Artistic Residency in which we host 5 international artists for 5 months for an exploratory work around music from Portuguese sources ca. 1500-1650.

CESEM-P.Porto and Arte Minima are partner organisations. CESEM-P.Porto provides the workspaces and research resources, Arte Minima the performance structure that joins the 5 artists in residence for concerts and recordings. Stakeholders include Património Cultural IP (ex. DRCN), the Alberto Sampaio Museum, the Elysio de Moura House-Museum, the Music Museum and the Frei Manuel do Cenáculo National Museum.
