Interview with Beatriz Silva (MMP) for the newspaper Hoje Macau

Beatriz Silva (Music in the Modern Period Group) was interviewed by the newspaper Hoje Macau about her PhD project “Singing the Revolution: The Role of Songs and Opera in the Spread of Communism in Mao Zedong’s China”.

The newspaper Diário do Minho was also interviewed the researcher on the subject, this time on the occasion of the exhibition ‘Musical Iconography in the Churches and Chapels of Funchal’. In this second interview, researchers Rui Magno Pinto and Cláudia Sousa, who were involved in the opening of the exhibition at the University of Minho in Braga, also gave some insights.
