The LAPEM – Laboratory of Palaeography and Musical Editing – constitutes the logistic and technological infrastructure of the Palaeography and Musical Editing Thematic Line. It is equipped with modern hardware for digital photography, reading and scanning of microfilms, and software for the treatment of images. It supports projects involving the editing of music, development of databases and the digitisation of manuscript and printed sources, particularly contributing to feed the PEM – Portuguese Early Music Database.
