Activities by Cláudio de Pina (CM) I May and June 2026

On May 31, Cláudio de Pina (Research Group on Contemporary Music) will be at FIO – Festival Internacional de Órgão, at the Fábrica de Santo Thyrso, in a multidisciplinary performance entitled Luz. Featuring music for organ and four-channel electronics composed by the researcher and composer, the performance also includes video projections, dance and lighting design. Further information here.

Also noteworthy is the launch of his new album, Outras Flores de Música. This album features 21st-century works by Bruno Gabirro, Diogo Alvim, Cláudio de Pina and Vítor Rua, written specifically for the historic 18th-century organ at the Parish Church of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda in Lisbon. The launch will take place on June 5 at 7.30 pm at O’culto da Ajuda in Lisbon. Some of the works from the album will be performed, accompanied by a projection of paintings by the Elvas-born artist António Cadete. Further information here.
