Biography

Mexican singer graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow, and from the Centre of Early Music in Geneva (HEM) where she studied Baroque and Medieval Music. She attended several master classes with specialists such as Benjamin Bagby, Katarina Livlianic, Marcel Pérès, David Eben, René Zosso, among others. Julieta has collaborated and currently continues to perform with various early music ensembles in Europe and Mexico. As a soloist, she has participated in various festivals and stages such as: Ambroney Festival, Lyon Opera, the Saisons Musicales de la Fondation Royaumont (France), Festival del Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México, Festival Internacional de Órgano Barroco (AMMAO, Mexico), Forum Musicum (Wroclaw), Festival Sacrum Profanum and Festival of Polish Music in Krakow, Festival Bancheto Musicale de Vilno , International Guitar Festival of Postojna (Slovenia), National Philharmonic of Warsaw, among others. Julieta carries out an important pedagogical work both in Poland and in Mexico, imparting Conferences, Workshops and Master Classes. She has devoted herself to the promotion of the ancient and traditional musical heritage of Mexico, Spain and Latin America. She is currently carrying out doctoral studies in Musicology at the University of Wrocław (Poland) with a project dedicated to the music of New Spain.In June 2022 he had the opportunity to attend a training (Erasmus programme) at CESEM on the subject of Old Hispanic chant with Dr. Elsa De Luca.
