AVEMUS Project obtains an “Excellent” in FCT’s final evaluation
The final report of the AVEMUS Project (2022.01889.PTDC) received an “Excellent” rating from FCT. In its evaluation of the project, FCT highlighted the quality of the website, “very informative and well designed, giving the outside world access to the results of the project in a convincing way”, as well as the final results, “an excellent mix of historical, performative and scientific artefacts, texts and events that are of great value to society and add significantly to our cultural and musical knowledge”.
Regarding CESEM members, the project team was composed of researchers from the Music in the Modern Period Group – Rosana Marreco Brescia (PI), Marco Brescia (Co-PI), Ana Maria Liberal, Pablo Sotuyo Blanco, Maria Luiza Caldas (scholarship holder), and Gabriel Coronas (scholarship holder) – and from the Early Music Studies Group – João Vaz.
