Women of Fado: From Maria Severa to Contemporary Times I Library edition of Marie Claire magazine has a text by Luzia Aurora Rocha

Luzia Aurora Rocha took part, by invitation, in the library edition of Marie Claire magazine, dedicated to the women of fado, with a text entitled: “Fado and the Feminine: The archetype of the fado woman in street art”.

This edition includes texts by researchers from the University of Vienna, University of Salzburg, University of Porto, UNESCO Centre Beja, Amália Rodrigues Foundation, NOVA University Lisbon, Federal University of Pernambuco, MUDE – Museum of Design and Fashion, Fado Museum, UNIP – Paulista University, Portuguese Catholic University, and independent researchers.

The magazine also includes the articles ‘Contemporary Female Fados: New Voices and Trends’ by Tiago Gonzaga Videira (a CESEM collaborator and INET-MD researcher) and ‘Intimacy and Power at the Heart of Fado’, written by Maria de São José Corte-Real (INET-MD), a professor at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
